Yes. Gift Certificates are available in any denomination you would like.
Do you offer trials and consultations?
When is the best time to book my consultation/Trial with you?
Your consultation can be booked whenever you would like…
However, it is usually recommended that your consultation/Trial is booked and done approximately 8-12 weeks prior to the wedding date. At this time, most of details of your wedding are being finalized; you have your dress and a clear idea of the Bridal day. We then work with all of your wedding information; dress, colors, jewelry, time frames set and so forth to design a custom look that fits best with your style and needs for the wedding day. The trial time is also used to confirm all final details, timeline set up and more.If done to early, you do potentially risk running into many unnecessary problems, due to changes such as hair lengths, unconfirmed details and more, that can/will often change the entire structuring of an original style choice…We have a number of detailed Blog posts outlining your trial sessions and how they function, posted up on the blog; bridaful.com/blog
Consultations/Trials runs are held at your chosen location. Day of services are also Mobile. We are happy to travel out to client (outside a 30 mile radius from NYC), please note that a Travel fee will apply, per artist.*Please note Trials are NOT conducted on Saturdays or Sundays, as this is a main Bridal day and our busiest time!Trial sessions are generally conducted during the week and/or Evening spots. Unless otherwise specified by us and/or for selective trial dates set up as per booking availability. Please contact us for trial date requests.
What if my trial session is closer to the wedding date, once I have everything together?
We are always available via email and phone throughout your secured booking as well; should client’s need to inform us of any changes, or wish to update us/send us images. Many of our client’s are in regular contact with us and as their planning progresses, sending us images of their dress, colors schemes, their bridesmaids and more.
What do I need to have ready for a Trial Session?
Full trial instructions and preparation will be sent to you prior to your trial appointment.
We will require: Reference images of the Makeup and/or Hair style you are looking to go with on your big day (minimum 5 of each), An image of your dress, your color swatches, your veil and or any accessories being worn and general timeline of the day (completion time, ceremony, photographer arrival time, etc)

What happens if someone wants there make-up/Hair done last minute that wasn’t booked for? Can you accommodate this?
Surprisingly common on the day of the wedding, this often happens after another client see’s someone who has just received Make-up and/or Hair services from us. Within our Bridal bookings, we schedule services and start times per the number of clients booked in as outlined in a client’s service contract, however, if there is time permitting, we will gladly do their Makeup/Hair as long as it does not interfere with the original members of bridal party that has already booked in for services with us. These “add-ons” will be bound by the same requirements and pricing as those listed on the contract for services.
How long does a makeup application take?
Please allow approximately time frames of 60 minutes for the Bride’s services and 25-30 minute application time for each additional client, per service. This can vary slightly depending on the elaborateness of the styles and looks being executed that day as requested by each individual client and/or Bridal bookings direct needs.
What is included in your makeup services?
For the Bride, skin product selection (primers, moisturizers, sun screen-if outside, anti shine etc) traditional (hand applied) makeup application, (highlighting/contouring if requested or appropriate), blush, long wearing lip color, eye makeup, brow defining, and strip lashes are included. Complimentary touch up items also included. (anti shine products, sample lip gloss and tissues for those emotional moments) Plus for all exposed skin on shoulders, décolletage, legs, and arms, I apply a skin finish product (Gleam) that gives the skin a red carpet luminosity that looks amazing on pictures (developed by a Makeup artist from Dancing with the Stars). All products used are waterproof and long lasting.
Airbrush makeup is an additional fee for any wedding party member. Airbrush makeup is foundation color matched to your tone and blush.
For Attendants: skin product selection, traditional makeup application, long wearing lip color, blush, brow defining and eye makeup. (all products are waterproof and long lasting) Lash application are an extra cost. (we provide lashes, if you prefer your own -price remains the same).Individual Lashes (small cluster of lash hairs) cost more due to the time spent gluing each cluster to both eyes. 6-15 clusters may be glued per eye and requires extra time and attention.

How far in advance should clients book your services?
It’s best to book your Beauty services at least 6 months in advance or as soon as possible, especially for those clients with wedding dates in the spring/summer months as they tend to be the busiest and book VERY fast and usually upwards of 8-10 months in advance!! However I average many of my Bridal bookings 8 months to a 1 year in advance.
Booking for the months of May through October general book about 1 year in advance!July, August and September are the main months of the year for all Bridal vendors – Most of us book 1 year in advance for these two particular months.May and June are equally as busy due to Graduation bookings and we often see DOUBLE The clientele during these two months! All LONG WEEKEND DATES (Fridays and Mondays included) typically book a 1 year MINIMUM In advance as well for most Mobile beauty providers.
A non-refundable retainer and a signed contract are required to secure your wedding date and book services. It is 50% of your overall package booked or $150 which ever is greater. All bookings are confirmed once we a have a copy of your signed contract returned and retainer fee.Once a Client confirms they wish to book services, for ease and convenience for our clients, everything regarding their booking can be processed electronically and via your email in mere minutes, including your retainer payment to secure your date. You may also snail mail your signed copy of your contract if that is your preference. Your privacy is important to us and we do not share ANY PERSONAL INFO EVER.

I will be needing services for me and my group likely very early in the morning…
What do I need to know and what options are available to help accommodate?
We are all VERY Familiar with the needs of many of our cultural wedding clients and thus often the requirement of very early morning start times for them and their group; as this is a large majority of our bookings. We start at ANY time of day for our bridal clients!
Any Early Morning Fee applies to services requiring an arrival time prior to 5am.
Are you able to cover blemishes/ skin issues?
Yes. I routinely work with many client’s that have skin conditions and sensitivities; Ranging from mild to more severe. This includes areas such as Acne, Rosacea, pigmentation issues and more. In the case of those with acne or scaring, do keep in mind that blemishes are raised skin, and as such raised skin you can’t “cover”. We can however take out the redness and irritation of the areas, but we can’t “flatten” it.
Have you ever done a: South Asian, Asian, Italian, etc. Wedding Before?
Yes. We are trained in all makeup/hair media’s, and as such are very familiar with our cultural client’s bridal needs as well as services/looks often requested and/or required of our multi-ceremony settings; As a large majority of wedding work and services we do are for that of Asian and South Asian based weddings and/or Mixed ceremonies.
How many clients can you serve at one time if the bride were to book her entire bridal party?
Are there discounts for doing so?
We do offer group rates for bookings of 5+ persons! This includes Make-up and Hair Combo services. We have done weddings ranging from a single client up to 15-20 clients…We can accommodate as many people as you need. In the event of larger bridal party bookings, we have assistants that help when timing is not available to allow just one Make-up and/or Hair artist and/or are available at an added fee, per artist needed.
I really like your work, what If It’s just me, the “bride only”, can I still book you?
Sure! In select cases throughout the year and due to different time frames of other bridal bookings, I am often able to accommodate the occasional “Bride only”. Why does airbrush makeup cost more in your price list?
We charge more for airbrush due to the additional education, certification, products, and supplies required to provide this service for our clients. It is a completely different skill to master.
Is airbrush makeup better that traditional makeup? Why?
No. It comes down to personal preference and also skin type.
Airbrush makeup is very thin liquid makeup designed for an airbrush gun which is then shot out in a fine mist. It has a sheer finish so that your own skin shows through. It is not ideal for “bad” skin. (examples: dry skin, texturized skin from acne or scarring, eczema, or skin with pigmentation issues, rosacea) It is simply too thin to cover such issues alone. It can be used in conjunction with traditional makeup to first address uneven skin tone or other imperfections. The skin should be smooth in texture for the best result. Those needing a medium-full coverage foundation would need traditional makeup to address specific skin imperfections.
Traditional makeup can be applied in using varied techniques to address specific issues. Creams and liquids will have heavier coverage/correction where needed. An in-depth assessment of your skin and makeup needs will be performed and the appropriate products, supplies and techniques will be chosen and your look will be designed specifically for you. Medium or full coverage foundation will still look and feel light and look like real skin. No unnecessary amount of makeup will be used. A Dewy effects still can be achieved with traditional makeup.
Whether using brushes, sponges or an airbrush gun, the final result with be the prettiest version of yourself with beautiful looking skin and makeup. Our portfolio of Bridaful Brides have both traditional and airbrush techniques used. Both techniques will look flawless with HD cameras.
I want to get a facial, when would be a good time to get one so my skin looks great for the wedding? And what about waxing ?
Give yourself at least 7 days for your face to “settle and recover” from any skin treatments like facials, microdermabrasion or chemical peels. Do not do any treatments that you have not tried before the week of your wedding. I cannot correct all issues that may occur from unknown reactions that may erupt and affect your skin.Waxing should be done 2-3 days at least, but 5-7 days is better. before the wedding day so that your skin may recover from any irritation.
What about if I want a spray tan? When should I do that?
Spray tans should be done 2 days before the wedding. Keep this in mind during your trial so that we match your skin tone accordingly. It would be advised to trial your makeup with a spray tan to appropriately match your foundation. Try out your spray tan before the wedding day so that you are comfortable with the shade and avoid tanning disasters. It is not easy to remove or correct once the spray tan is dry.
When do you expect your full balance to be paid and in what form of payment to you accept?
The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the event. Credit card, Check, Money order and Paypal are accepted methods of payment.
